From the moment the sun rises, our expert team is here to guide you through a thoughtfully crafted, wellness-forward routine that blends fitness, nutrition, recreation, mindfulness and therapeutic practices. At Skyterra, you’ll discover a supportive environment that nurtures your mind, body and spirit, empowering you to step into the best version of yourself while making lifelong memories and friendships.

Begin with Intention: 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Begin your day within an inspired community of like-minded young adults, all striving to become their best selves. Together, we set meaningful intentions for the day ahead.

Highlights:

  • Begin with a personalized morning routine
  • Circle up with fellow guests to set daily intentions, complete journal prompts and get acquainted with the daily schedule
  • Participate in Connect class, a daily mindfulness practice consisting of mobility work, gentle stretching, and calming breath work
  • Enjoy a nourishing breakfast as a community and prepare for the day ahead.

Dive into the Program: 9 a.m. to noon

These aren’t your average, lecture-style classes. Think empowering fitness while jamming to your favorite music, invigorating activities in the great outdoors, and messy hands in the kitchen during culinary demonstrations! Your stay includes access to licensed dietitians, fitness specialists, culinary experts, and more.

Highlights:

  • Try your hand at your choice of fitness and nutrition classes, life skill-building classes, on-campus walks and outdoor activities
  • Join us for hikes through local national and state forests, well known as the Land of the Waterfalls
  • Join us for lakeside adventure yoga and picnic lunches
  • Try your hand at pickleball, aqua fitness, gardening and more at Skyterra Wellness Retreat, our sister business and USA Today‘s Best Wellness Retreat in the Country two years in a row!

Learn and Grow: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Become a student of self-care and an expert on Skyterra Young Adult’s Five Pillars of Wellness. This is your journey, so use this time to absorb all of the wisdom our clinical team has to offer. Reflect on your past, current and future to help navigate who you want to become.

Highlights:

  • Join us for hands-on culinary education classes (taste tests included!) and learn how to craft nutritious and fulfilling food for yourself and your loved ones
  • Use personal time for self-care, journaling, creative arts, letter-writing to home, and more
  • Take full advantage of private fitness, nutrition and therapy sessions where you’ll have one-on-one access to our experts.

Wind Down: 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

It is our ritual at Skyterra Young Adult to begin and end each day together. Consider this our sacred time to express gratitude to ourselves and one another, and be proud of all that we have accomplished. We’ve spent the day hard at work on ourselves, so rest and recovery that speaks to  the soul is important.

Highlights:

  • Join us as we prepare and eat a family-style dinner as community, around our dining table or a cozy bonfire, using the Skyterra Plate as our guide
  • Evening activities include meetings with our book club, soothing mediation, creative arts opportunities, movie and game nights, and more
  • Finish your day with your personal evening self-care routine.

Weekly Local Excursions

Skyterra Young Adult values challenge and the adventure inherent in our natural world. For this reason, we love spending time in the great outdoors, engaging in activities that build confidence and fuel a renewed zest for life away from technology and in the arms of Mother Nature.
